Research and Evaluation Committee
The Research and Evaluation Committee is developing benchmarks of success to promote shared accountability and learning throughout the Vital Village Network. In this effort the committee is leveraging existing data systems and planning additional data collection of metrics of population-level change and to track benchmarks of child well-being, family and community-level protective factors, and neighborhood resources and risk factors. Next, the Committee assists with the translation and dissemination of network findings to community, policy, and practice arenas. Finally, the Committee assists with the design and implementation of curriculum for graduate education (medical, public health, social science, human services, law) around community engagement, community-based research, and advocacy. The Committee is composed of faculty from Boston University School of Medicine /Boston Medical Center.
