Boston Medical Center’s Project STRIVE (Support Trauma Interventions for Educators) aims to help schools and early education systems of care increase their capacity to identify, respond to, and optimally support the unique needs of young children who have been impacted by trauma exposure.


In the Trauma 101 training, we will discuss a general overview of trauma, brain development, attachment theory, and the importance of self-care.

After completing the training, participants will be able to:
-Identify the symptoms and behaviors of trauma in children
-Understand the neurological, social, and emotional impacts of toxic stress and trauma
-Use trauma-informed strategies to enhance resilience and protective factors

Duration: 3 Hours
Credit: Certificate of Completion
