What is CLASS®?
The Classroom Assessment Scoring System® (CLASS®) is an observational instrument which is used to assess classroom quality. It describes three dimensions of teaching that are linked to student achievement and development: Emotional Support, Classroom Organization, and Instructional Support. Within each domain are dimensions which capture more specific details about teachers' interaction with children. (http://teachstone.com/classroom-assessment-scoring-system/)
CLASS® observers rate each dimension on a 7-point scale, and each observers are trained and certified by the institution. We performed paired-T test to see the whether there is a significant change pre and post intervention and what direction is the change within each dimension. Red diamonds over each bar indicate its significance level. Deeper red means significant at α=0.01, lighter red shows significant at α=0.05.
